Parc
national des Monts-Valin is a natural gem located north of the city of
Saguenay. It is distinguished by its rugged peaks, dense forests, and
remarkable biodiversity. In summer and winter, it attracts lovers of

high-altitude territory
Mont Valin rises to over 900 metres and offers a panoramic view of the entire
region. In winter, the abundant snow transforms the park into a paradise for
snowshoeing and backcountry skiing enthusiasts.

trails

park offers a variety of itineraries, such as the Pic-de-la-Tête-de-Chien
trail or the Mirador trail. These hikes allow you to discover the typical landscapes
of the Canadian Shield and to observe wildlife.

can spend the night in rustic huts or ready-to-camp tents,
to experience nature in all seasons. The Discovery Centre also allows you to
learn more about the park’s geology and wildlife.
