Battures Hotel Fjord Saguenay is looking for a versatile, dynamic and passionate person to join our housekeeping team. As an Assistant Housekeeper, you will play an essential role in maintaining the high standards of cleanliness and quality for which our establishment is renowned.
Our reputation is growing, and we want to continue to provide an impeccable experience for our customers. You will be called upon to support the senior housekeeper in several aspects of team management and maintenance operations.
Main responsibilities:
- Perform housekeeping of the hotel’s rooms and common areas.
- Manage, supervise and train housekeeping staff in the absence of the senior housekeeper.
- Manage equipment stocks and ensure their availability on a daily basis.
- Inspect the work of room attendants and correct quality deviations as necessary.
- Replace the main housekeeper during her absences, while maintaining a high level of quality and organization.
Skills and knowledge sought:
- Knowledge of labour standards, hygiene and sanitation rules, and occupational health and safety principles.
- Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with team members.
- Positive leadership: knowing how to motivate, lead and support employees.
- Organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Sensitivity to diverse cultures is an asset.

Contract duration: 12 months
Compensation: $17.00 to $20.00 per hour
